I m new to posting threads. I just got a 1986 Monte Carlo SS hardtop. The car has had its engine replaced. It now has a 350 with a 4-barrel carb. However, I m thinking of going with a LS-1 if I can. My questions are, will the LS-1 mate with the computer ? Also,which tranny will I need to mate with the LS-1 ? Please give me as much info as you can muster.
