Hey all ....

I have a 87 Monte LS with a 305. The problem i am having is that when i drive for a bit and come to a stop the car starts to shutter like it wants to die. I put it in nuteral and the car idels fine, I pop it back in drive and everything is fine. I also think that i am not running full power on the road. I push the gas pedal and it seems like it is not giving everything it should. does anyone have any ideas or maybe had the same problem?

 

Have you tried the simple stuff yet? Fuel filters? Tune Up?

Unplug the TCC. It may be trying to lock up your converter which will bog the engine. If this cures it then the TCC switch needs replaced inside the trans pan.
