Hmm. Might have to start running this myself. Might even help with the KR issue.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed my write-up! Synthetics are something I have been a fan of since I learned of them.Even my2.2L 4cyl beretta saw that in it's latter miles, and I was never too broke to spend the extra money on quality oil, despite being in college at the time.

I'd like to see two identical street cars, with high-compression small blocks, run under the same conditions for like 40 k miles. One with Synthetic, and one with conventional oil. Then after a good season of real punishment, broken apart, and compared. I've heard of a taxi-cab company doing something of the sort, but never saw any type of official report, which is why I won't go into any details, but supposedly the results made the owner buy stock in a synth oil company, lol!

All good write ups and opinions, My personal favorite is Amzoil, it too is a full synthetic and its great... I dont really care which one you buy but swap any car you care about over to full synthetic... if nothing else, they say synthetic is good for like 8k instead of the 3 or 5 with conventional...While i would never run my car that long on any oil, it is good piece of mind

amsoil is great oil, the only thing i dont like about it is that its way overpriced, when the rep came in here he said he could sell it to me for 8 or 9 bucks a quart and i could sell it for 13, but if i was selling oil for 13 bucks a quart no-one is going to buy it
