hi all,i have a 01 and city driving no problems,but once i get out on the hwy,,i doing around 110km the it cuts out,i push the gas and the RPMs go down and it does this for about 15-20 seconds and it comes back,then i give it gas al good and then 10mins later it does it again,,i have to feather touch the pedal until it comes back,is the coil pack going on me?? it only does it when i step on it,,thanks for your help,

ok what type of engine did you do any mods do you have already have done. montes that year has cat problems. i would first do a tune up replace all the fluids and wires and go from there. if it was a sputter or a surge it would be a spark or fule problems. but after you do all of that i would get a down pipe for it. it eleminatses the u bend and comes with a new cat as well. plus it is a good first mod to begine with

 

i take that back it sounds like a cat or a spark problem

 

yes i got it fixed of all things,,Map sensor,,it took me stalling out and towing it to my friends garage, he spent all but 2 hours on it,never showed on the codes,,its been a month and the car is running perfect,,
