Default Eaton Supercharger Bypass Actuator

Hi everyone. Was wondering what are the signs of a bad supercharger bypass actuator? Seems that my supercharger doesn't seem to make the sound it just to make before can this be the reason why? Or can it be that the supercharger needs some service. Please help I miss my supercharger sound and performance. thanks

If your boost bypass valve is bad, you will only see ~4 psi of boost rather than the stock 7-8 psi.

I suppose the electric solenoid that feeds it could've failed too (its the little box in front of it connected by a short vac line- with the plug on the left). Easy way to tell if either is bad (if you have a boost gauge that is)- is tie the bypass valve in the closed position (opposite of where it sits when its idling)- and go for a quick WOT run to see if you're making full boost.
