Default do I need a gtp fuel pump for the the sc motor swap

I did a full motor swap in my wife's 02 Monte with a 99 gtp motor. After the swap it ran without the computer bein tuned but it would idle from 600 rpm to 1200 rpm. But it would start and run. I sent the computer to a guy in Canada to get tuned for the swap. When I got it back the car won't start unless I prime it, the car runs great after that but won't start up again without being primed. Now I can't get ahold of the guy that tuned it. I'm running 42 pounds of fuel pressure key on engine off when it requires 48 minimum. Do I need a gtp fuel pump or will a new Monte pump work?

Awesome, thanks. I believe it was lt1 pcm tuning. It was awhile back and I still haven't figured out my starting issue. I have the box at work and can confirm the tuner later.

I'm running everything from the Monte except the motor. The wiring harness is from the Monte.

I have a stock pump in mine. Mine is an L36 car also.

Stock pump, stock L67 injectors. It starts to lean out when it gets really cold, but its not too bad.

Did you run the l36 harness? The one time overkill did contact me back he stated that he programed the ecm for a gtp harness.

The only dif between gtp harness and monte harness is bbv solenoid. When guys first started l67 swapping 95-99 montes they used 97-98 gtp pcms...on a motes harness. Id try a dif tune
