Default DHP Tunr

Hey guys, I finally got sick of arguing with myself and went for the DHP powrtuner, should be here in 3 weeks. This will be my first attempt at tuning my 3400 Engine, or any engine for that matter. Curious if anyone has any does or dont's for my engine, tips, or even comments from what you guys did. And as always, thanks for any feedback, couldnt do it without ya.

you need access to the forum. the general page is this http://www.gmv6pcm.com/ after you make a log in, you will need to email the mod staff there should be a link somewhere there. and tell them that you have purchased a Powertuner and they will give you access to the owners only section of that board.

after that you will beable to down load the tuner guide. it is rather long, but you will need to read every part of it. read it completely every line atleast two times if not more before you even try to tune your car. if your not careful and mess up in one of the steps you might even erase your PCM by accident. if you read it all you wont have any issues.

the most important thing to know about tuning is scan, make one small change, upload, and rescan. repeat until your happy.
