So you have a car that ZZP made a turbo for, and you want to pipe your own?

Do you have the skills to do the fabrication and metal work yourself?

Most people find alternate methods for a less expensive goal, in the end they just whined up paying more.

Consider this, your not the first to turbo a 3800 engine, many have done it before you, and the best advice they ussually give is just get the ZZP kit cause it is really the best and least expensive option over all. Be patient, save your money for the kit and a transmission and you will be happy and thankful in the end.

Putting a turbocharger on a car is a lot of work, even when it's made specifically for your vehicle. With a kit available for your ride, I would save up the money and purchase the pre-fabbed kit. I wish you luck whichever route you choose. Keep us updated!

Assuming your goal is trying to use a cheap ebay universal kit- do you really want to put a cheap garbage turbo on the engine? If you look at the price of a quality turbo alone- the entry kit is pretty reasonably priced.
