Changing oil for storage? yay or nay?

id change it during storage with some of the lucas oil in there just so when it sits it can penetrate all the metal and stuff, it doesnt have to be great oil because i would probably just swap it out again after you take it out of storage

used oil forms acids which can eat bearings if left sitting long enough.

i know tons of people including myself who leave all their "toys" (lawn mowers, cars, snowmobiles, ATVs, etc) in storage for an extended period of time and change the oil when they take them out of storage and everything still runs in tip top shape. just make sure your coolant is mixed well enough so it doesn't freeze and crack a block along with some fuel stabilizer in the fuel and call it good.
