Default Cartuning turbo PT-61

Hey guys and gals, I have a question. I bought a used turbo, big mistake since both wheels (turbine and compressor) are shot to hell, needs a new dog bowl, seals and bearing, and I would like to know if anyone know anything about these turbo unit. I'm specifically looking to find out the type of turbo it is (I think it's a T4 but I'm not sure), I also believe it's a ball bearing-less turbo but I haven't checked it yet since I don't have long snap ring pliers to get to the bearing, so I can get a rebuild kit with all those parts previously mention. Any help will be greatly appreciated. (I've tried to get a hold of Cartuining but they were either closed today or no one monitored the emails).

http://www.stattama.com/index.cfm?fu...139&product=80

That's a link to an upgrade that Stattama sells.
A bit pricey, but I'm sure that guy can help you with any information you need to get the project started even if you're not planning on straight up replacing the turbo.

Otherwise, I'd check out the turbo section on clubgp. Lots of people running turbo setups over there.

I decided to replace the turbo with a new unit from Cartuning. Besides, the new turbo would be more efficient and bolts right in with the Cartuning set up. I'm still going to rebuild the old unit since it's a good turbo for our cars and once rebuild, probably sell it.

It is a nice set up. I hear good things about the Cartuning set up, not so good about their customer service although I've been in contact with Kevin from Cartuning (by email no less) and he has always answered in a timely fashion. Hopefully, once the turbo goes in the car the assistance will keep on coming, lol.
