Holy crap that is one fast Monte. I wonder if they have any other mods besides the turbo? Has anyone else seen this?

i think thats bryan over on ls1 tech. the engines are very capable of putting 500 hp to the wheels with that turbo kit puttin 12 psi. if he cammed it, and put heads, intake manifold, etc on he could easily put 600 if tuned properly. i ferget what that turbo will put max psi but i think 12 is max. but the origional gxp with the turbo is now doin a full rebuil with the stuff menchined above. their goal is 700 hp. now keep in mind that the trans has to be built in order to handle it

I was going to say something, but my brain is still stuck on 11.68 sec and 112 mph.

The turbo kit is $5,500 to buy, and he said his tranny build was around $1,450.

notice tho that he does have other mods such as the rockers and springs. he also ported his intake manifold so that has alot of help. if your going to install yourself then you would see probably 8 grand with trans work. if you need to install by pro then your going to look at 90-110 per hour. they said it take 9-10 hours for an install so add another grand

It's nice that it can be done...

But it's not going to be done widely I'm sure.

Yeah... It's cool, but for $10+ grand more for everything to be done correctly. I would have bought a new car.
