I was thinking about getting a CAI for my 2001 Monte LS.Can anyone tell me who makes them and pics of how to do yourself

 

if i were you, id search around on ebay....there you will find a list from the high end, expensive models such as AEM, and the cheaper offbrand models (which is what i got on my nonner and i love it...saved me about 200 bucks.)

I was going to purchase the Speedbuilt Fenderwell CIA system listed on PFYC before a ripped apart my stock intake. I am pretty happy with my rig job..

I met the local distributor for Aero-Turbine mufflers today and he also has some pretty trick CAI systems. It's similar to an iceman intake, but where the intake tube feeds into a box, where the air filter is located. The top of the box is plexiglass so you can see when the filter is dirty. I told him I was interested in getting one for the Monte and he said he'd see what he can do. I'm gonna call him up next week and remind him about it, and offer my car for R&D. Who knows, maybe I'll get mine for free. I'll keep you guys posted if this becomes available, it looks real nice!
