lol i like mike, hes a cool guy. just sometime has mistakes with the business, nothing to get excited over, he's a real nice guy and i'd refer him to anyone. and only like 70hp increase? your cars gotta be around 200 hp to the wheels as it is? thats only like 50-70 hp? that doesnt sound right to me? lol

you know the only reason i got them is cause i got that $50 rebate from sending in my catlytic converter as a core to ZZP, but i can HARDLY even notice it. there is a very very slight increse in response, but i wouldnt recommend buying them unless you really want to.

Looking nice, it's always good to see a rare build.

Keep this updated with pictures and such, I'll enjoy the read.

did u build up the bottom end ??? i hear that supercharged 3.8s are built for more strength compared to regular 3.8s ..u could add the supercharger to a normal 3.8 but it would suffer...i too have a 3.4 in my 2002 LS and they dont offer anything for any real performance upgrade...good motor mpg wise...that said im glad your giving it a go..should be interesting to see how it all works out...me im planning on stuffing a 2006 3.9 motor into mine..good luck

There are other 60* V6's out there making more power- and I haven't heard of any of them having bottom end problems. I can't imagine he'll be adding more than 100 horsepower on top of stock without doing an IC, cam, heads or some other major mods- so I wouldn't be that worried about it as long as he monitors KR.

Whoever told you that- stop listening to them, they obviously don't know ANYTHING about the 3800's. Better yet- ask for the part number for the crankshaft on both the L36 and L67, and see what they come back with.
