i have used the msd wires and it seemed that it was not running like it should when one of the original wires broke on me when i started to replace the plugs. after a week i replaced them with the ac delco ones it seems to run better now

 

I have the PRJ's too- but the advantage there is for those running a boosted setup with copper tip plugs who have to change them frequently. In the case of the OP- if he buys OEM style iridiums, he likely won't ever have to change plugs again on the car as they're good for 100k miles.

 

I use the stock plugs, but I've still had the plugs wires off several times for other things. If you don't anticipate ever needing to remove them, there is no sense in getting the PRJs. However, if you are like me and you know you frequently tinker, it's nice to be able to pull the wires out and not worry about breaking them.

 

Delco wires, NGK Iridiums.

 

i will agree prj wires are by far the best but they are not needed unless you want them for looks or you are into performance big time or you remove them and install them alot. acdelco wires are more sufficient for the average person/car. and these are the only 2 sets i would ever buy.

Are the AC Delco ones pre gaped. I read somewhere that they are already set no gaping required on my end.

 

They are pregapped, but make sure you at give them at least a cursory glance. I picked up an 8 pack when I did mine and one had a noticeably smaller gap than the others. If you are getting them at a parts store, check them before you buy them to save yourself time if they are off.
