I had a similar problem where my A/C wasn't getting real cold. I took it to the dealer and had them power flush the coolant. It a lot colder, but not like factory brand new.

If the passenger side is blowing cold and the driver side is not, you do NOT need a Freon recharge. It sounds like the actuator for the driver side blend door is not working. I also found on my Monte when I was replacing the evaporator core the driverside blend door was a bit "tight" and I had to lightly sand down where it was rubbing.

IDK Jason. When my system was lower on Freon my passenger side was colder than my driver's side.

You need to get your system looked at. You probably have a bad leak and are losing freon as fast as you are adding it.

I had a completely cracked condenser... was not fun or cheap.

Mine is working beautifully!!! but in the intrigue is having the same kind of issue

i sure hope whe you add those two bottles of freon to your system you purchase ones with a guage, putting too much in your system is also harmfull to the system and hurt it's performance,

i read somwhere that you don't want more than 45lbs on the low presure side

That's interesting. Both sides are using the same evaporator core in the HVAC module. Maybe it's just how does the core cool when the system is low. The odd part is, the core lines are on the driver side (which I would think would get coldest). Or it's just how the air flow moves through the HVAC module.

I will give in that this could be a symptom of low/leaking freon. BUT, I can also say since what I did with my HVAC module and the blend door, I DO notice a difference. Prior to that, there was always a significant difference in temp from driver and passenger side.

Lots of issues to look at. Might be best to let a trusted pro look at it. If it's low, they can tell you.
