Alternative to trans. flush

You can buy it at pretty much any auto parts store, the dealer, or online.
Here is one place online you can get them. But there are many other places too.

Well I've done that, got all the old fluid out it wasn't that dark and the pan wasn't very dirty either. It was all replaced with dexron 6, and the level is right on and for the most part my problem is gone, but it happens still.
Basically I'm at a stop I barley press the gas, probably about 1500 - 1700 rpm, it will jump into gear with some pretty good force. It does this for the first couple gear shifts.
I've heard this may have something to do with the motor mounts.

I don't know what slamming into gear would have to do with the engine mounts- they're not that hard to check if you think there is excessive slop though- try moving the engine by hand- rocking it forward and back. If it moves substantially, the mounts are bad. The upper ones are very easy to see from the sides- you can just look from the side; and the passenger side lower one is visible from the passenger side wheel well.
Usually you can see torn or leaking (in terms of lower hydraulic mounts) if its bad, or the engine will have a lot of give.
Honestly, I see a lot of people do pan drops for their transmission once the car has a bunch of miles on it and transmission problems are popping up, and probably 80% of the time- the pan drop doesn't fix anything. Obviously it never hurts to change it- but it also isn't usually the solution to transmission problems.
