Hey guy whats up, don't know if anybody has posted a question like this but what all would I need to add a stock supercharger to my 3800 in an 01 ss, the car is stock and didn't come with a sc, anybody know what it would take to to add?

It's not as easy as you think it will be. You will basically need EVERYTHING from a supercharged engine from the heads up + a tuned PCM and a little wiring changes.

 

I'm pretty certain there are many posts out there already about this topic.

You either work with them OR use it as a shopping list to get salvage parts. I know a member here was selling a top swap kit, so you may want to check the "for sale listings" and see if he still has it.

 

Someone who has done a top swap, or is doing one soon really should make a walkthrough with pics and what all is needed, etc- all in one thread to sticky. Not that I mind repeat posts that much, but this has to be by far the most frequently asked topic in the engine sections- and the most recent posts in the search on this topic have very little useful info like the older threads did (probably because people got tired of typing out everything involved each time).
