Default Can i add a supercharger to my 3.4 l monte

So i may be able to grab a working supercharger off of a 4th gen regal for dirt cheap. would i ever be able to fit this in my 2005 monte carlo ls? if so, how might i go about adding it?

Nope, the 3800 isn't that similar to the 3400.

You would need to do a remote mount supercharger for that car, but that's all custom bracketry and belting.

There are options for these cars to add an M62, but an M90 will not fit. Also, there are less than 10 of these that are known to exist at this point, so finding the parts may prove difficult.

I figured as much, so the supercharger on the regal is an m90 ??? If so. If I can get it dirt cheap. What would be a good selling point for it. If I were to just resell it used?

Not worth your time or effort to even try to resell, they are a dime a dozen. I would just let it go.

Yeah the regal is an L67 which is an m90.

I have seen people use a 3800 SC on a 3100/3400 engine, slap it with on top of the UIM and cut a big hole in the hood. Unless you plan for a cowl hood tall enough to accommodate, I don't think I'd recommend it (but it is neat they did it and mad it all work).
