Default '86 monte bad squeak

Hey guys new to this forum and i have this very irritating problem with my monte. its an '86, and when she's cold and i start her up it will make this god awful squeaking sound that sounds like its the belts, but i'm pretty sure its not because i tightened the belts and applied dressing to them. it will make this horrible squeaking sound with choke on or off... it doesnt matter, for about a minute maybe...and then it'll stop squeaking. if you try to start with a warm engine, it'll start with no squeak. so what the hell is it? since it goes away when the engines hot, it makes me think something is freezing up when its cold, and when it gets warmer it sets itself free. and i mean its embarassing when your in a parking lot full of people and squeaks like that! so if you guys could please give me your input on how to resolve this problem!

also - it only has 80k miles!

What i would recommend is to have about a 2' hose with you and when you start the car, use it as a stethoscope. When its squeeling, you can really listen to all the pulleys and dial it in. But something is telling me that it could be your power steering pump.
