81 monte with th350. what drive shaft?

Default 81 monte with th350. what drive shaft?

like it says iv thrown a th350 in my 81 monte. and iv seen a million montes with th350s my question is which drive shaft can i use as i can only assume that every monte carlo owner with a th350 did not get it custom made. any info at all will b appreciated!!!

what trany was in there originally?

ok so in my search it looks to me taht it origionally came with a TH250

if it is a short shaft th350 it sounds like you should be able to toss your old drive shaft in and your on your way, i'd say try it if nothing else you will have to get it shortened and balanced

the yoke is 27spline wich matched up with th350 length may be your only issue but they have shops that will fix that for ya, my buddy did that for a mopar he swaped a 360 into and a 727 had to get 6 in cut off and balanced i think it cost him $40

Welcome to the site. You may want to measure from the tail shaft to the pinion carrier and head to the junkyard.
