Pulled a code the other day. Forgot the code but when I called the local dealer they started it was the ignition switch. Shorting out or something along those lines and losing voltage.

Fuel pump went through my head too......

The code was something like "Ignition 1 circut two" I think.

I also have a reving issue so I am told it is the sensor on the pedal, so I have one of them enroute too.

BTW MAMONTE I love the color (same as mine lol)

Thank you! It is an awesome color isnt it!

I'm glad to hear you finally got a code out of it, that makes it much easier. Get that fixed and it sounds like you will be good to go!

Reving issue resolved by the gas pedal replacment.

Downside is I have a SS gas pedal and missing the V8 to go with it lol HA!

Ok the real downside is that the Keyswitch is installed but my issue still occurs. anyone out there think of something else I could look into?

Bitting the bullet and going to bend over the counter and going to give the car to the dealer for a while so they can fix it. or at least tell me what to replace.

Ok so a little update. My farther jumped in the car and we drove it 20 ft and he told me to stop. (Closed road) Stuck his head out the window and I drove another 20 ft. He says I have a bad Wheel Bearing. on the Passengers side. Could not tell front or rear.

So That being said I looked up a couple things things online to find out the G6's and G5's have this simular issue I am having. The solution is a Wheel bearing.

Reason is the sensor in the bearing that controls not only ABS, but shows when the car is spinning (Traction control), also according to my finding also does speed sensing. When this sensor miscumunicates with the the computer it can go throw a code but can be reset with the car on/off cycle.

So instead of going to the dealer by buddy that owns his own shop is going to look at the wheel bearing tomorrow. But here is a quick video of my trip on the HWY this morning.

Should be fixed tomorrow or the next day, I am no rush for it with gas being 1.28/L I am all good on drivng my little 4banger lol

I can almost assure you its the front wheel bearing. Its a rather common thing with these cars.
