Changed the fluid and filter already and I had no metal shavings or anything abnormal in the pan. Just gunk on the magnet. Thing that bothered me was I didnt notice a drain plug on the tranny pan...

i forgot who sells the transpan that has a nut on it i know mamonte has one i also like to get one. i would sugest to do anouther one just to have the satisfaction on getting the rest on. but on the bright side at least you got what you could out. and it should run alot better with the older fluid out and the new stuff in

Got my zzp pcm today and the hard shifting is now a thing in the past... and also the 4th gear lag is barely noticable now!

Question will not shift into over drive

Hello. I have a 2000 ss and for over a year I have not had overdrive. Does anyone know what would cause this? I have been told it could have something to do with my brakes but my fiance wants me to sell it so he doesn't want to do the work to fix it. I love my car even with all its issues and would like to know if it would be something cheaper to fix or get another car.

Default uncommon trans issue. im confusedas could be

Im having a problem with my car feeling bogged down in 3rd shifting to 4th my rpms will drop far too low between 900 and 1100 while im still accelerating hard. If I try giving more gas it drops my rpms even further feeling like im hauling a boat uphill . It doesnt get better unless I let off the gas then firmly resume acceleration. Any ideas would be great I recently did trans fluid drain new filter and new solenoids however I had the car scanned and they said its throwing no codes and they said the transmission appeared to be running fantastic. Any ideas please !!!
