Default 2005 monte carlo mods

I have a 2005 with normally aspirated 3.8L with 50k miles. I have added a K&N C.A.I, new plugs and wires but that's it. I want to increase engine response but stay on pump gas (91 octane). what other mods can I do?
PCM?
Rocker arms?
exhaust mod with out increasing noise?

Thanks Joe

From what I hear those k&n intakes are garbage. Might be better off with a fenderwell intake instead. I've recently did some exhaust mods myself and their are some gains
