1984 442 307 ho swap

i'm not positive on this but from what i can remember from my demo derby days i think you will need different motor mounts. i would think the accessory drive is pretty similar but if i was you i would try to poke your head under the hood of an olds so you can compare. overall, it should be a pretty straight forward swap.
oh ps- you might need an adapter plate to mount up to the 200r4.

your going to need an adapter for the trans. and i would take everything with the motor. just in case power steering pulley might be different. not to bother but why do you want to run that motor? the 307ho had a "hotcam" but didnt make any horsepower or torque. it was a 170hp/250tq motor when it was fresh. i had one in my gutlass and it sucked only good thing is that they were indestructible. also if you are pulling it from a 442 take the rear while your there its got the same 8.5 10 bolt that was in the grand national but with 3.73s in it.

everything has to be changed to put a olds motor in a car with a chev motor.
no acc.will fit as they are not the same the batt. is on the wrong side. the wiring harness will have to be changed up a little the starter and alt are on the opposite side as the chevy.
if you have the th200r4 trans you have a dual bolt paturn trans so your good there.
