Hello everyone, I have a 07 ss with the 5.3 and all of a sudden I’ve lost reverse, shifts and drives fine in every other gear just not reverse. I’ve already dropped the pan, changed the fluid and replaced the filter along with the pan gasket to no avail. Pan didn’t have any metal shavings in it. Anyone had a problem like this? Any suggestions on what it might be? Thanks!

 

If it went from good to nothing, then Id bet it broke the reverse band. Theres a few things for no reverse though- blown channel plate gasket, servo seal, low line pressure, boost valve, etc - but generally those show signs first as fluid leakage gets worse and worse until its inoperable.
