Waxing

OK, this is what I use. The car was sitting in the sun and I put this on in direct sunlight and left it on for 2 hours, went back out and it came off like I had just put it on. not cheap but it is worth it.

I use there stuff too. I don't see why people use Megliars.
Megliars tried to kick Jax Wax out of several shows in anyway legally...the 3 winners up used Jax wax. Very good stuff

Not a wax but a sealant however I have enjoyed the results I get from Klasse.
It's a two part an All in One and a High Gloss Glaze. The glaze you can add layers to for deeper and deeper shine. If memory serves I had about 5 coats on both the Camaro and the truck when the pictures were taken.

i use to work for a dealer that had a great body shop crew that they emploied to do repairs to do body work for the custimers. they told me always do it in the shade. as in waxing the car and wiping it off. expecially when washing do to it damaging the clear coat. when detailing and washing under a shady tree or a car port is ideal so there is no sun bake and eventually peal. also it gives you time to soap up the car and fully wash it also fully wax the car as well

A glaze or polish works much better on dark colored cars because you don't get wax build up. I really don't use wax on the red 03 because it doesn't see rain or snow, so it doesn't need the protection of wax. I use Meguires #7 and it really brings out the deep shine of the red.

i haven't waxed mine in about 2 years, i know i know, but it's garage kept and i try to keep it outta the snow and salt and such, anyway i've been using Teflon by DuPont and even though it's been a lil while since i've used it last it's still got a nice shine to it and a neighbor actually said he knew it was me comin cause he saw the car gleaming as it turned the corner

Good example here of a car with sun damage. I buffed half the hood.
