i thought they were only held on by the double sided adhesive. if you look at some of my pics youll get an idea of what it may look like. i have an 06 but the only difference is in the front end.

I use the GM glaze. It lasts forever and makes the car so shiney its blinding. Takes a long time though. Never thought to clay bar my car.

*runs off to get clay bar kit*

The glaze I have lasts months. I got it from the dealership.

You put it on with a cloth or chamois cloth. Then just rub it off. Like a polish. Its better then any bottle I've bought from a store. It last through alot of washes. It also cleans the residue that just doesn't come off by washing it.

wow, i'd never heard of it.

my guess is that it' some product you can buy elsewhere in a different bottle though. i don't mean to offend you, it works better than anything you've ever used as you say. but i'm betting GM doesn't go thru te trouble to make their own polish, they're just using someone elses.

LOL. You're right its not a GM product. Its a 3M product. Took me a minute to figure out why you were talking about GM making products like that. DUH!! I wrote it. 3M not GM.

You can get it in different bottles. I found them all over the place. I had to look harder for the one I have.

I do like it alot. It doesn't leave swirl marks. Its hard to use though. But worth it. It makes my cara different colour red when I use it. But I was told only to use it each season change. So, I do and it lasts. I didn't know to put wax over it though. I'm going to try that. Should I just us the Maguire's over it? I like Maguires products too.
