Do one panel at a time and use an Absorber to dry it.

I do wash in sections, but like mike obviously the whole car is constantly getting wet.

as does driver #3,I too use a silicon blade water remover, works great to get most of the water off the car then a shamois for the rest. I too have very hard water. my son bought me a Mr.clean spotless car wash kit at walmart, it works ok but Ive gotten to where I usually go to Car Spa, get the 5$ wash or more, then come home and detail it myself! just lazy I guess!! throw the drying guy a couple of bucks and they dry better and do the tires with protectant!!

A few years ago my son lived in Phoenix, AZ we went to visit and during the trip we needed to get the vehicle washed. In Scottsdale there was a wash called the Flamingo Car Wash, For $15.00 They ran the SUV I had thru the wash, they did the tires and wheels, then they dried it, they did the inside door panels, they did the inside/outside windows that passed the wife's streak free test, they Vac the inside and wiped down the dash and dust the Air ducts they got stuff that I didn't think about. That was a reasonable and quality wash and they did everything. Not to many of those around I don't think.
There is a cleaner that my father always used for tires called Wesley's tire cleaner which does a super job on White walls and if you want to get all the slick stuff from the tires that builds up this works good for that also. It kind of does the work for you, spray it on, rinse it off clean, use a brush for better results.
