are you doing the supercharger and alternator polishing yourself?? i was planning on just painting my supercharger black like yours is in the pictures, but i want to polish it. cant find a place to do it, what kind of place would? too lazy to do all that work myself. polishing takes forever, and a good toolset.

yes i'm in the process of getting my polish blower together. i bought the blower case that is already polished, but it's in fort wayne right now getting inlet/out machine porting. my snout and mid plate is in st. louis for a polish job. yes i'm doing the alternator next, but i'm going to have to find get another alternator cause i'm going to be driving my mc alot and hate to have the car sitting in the garage who know how long. i don't think it's good idea to paint the alternator cause the paint probably make the alternator get hotter. here's where i have my parts polish at.

www.grandprixforums.net there's couple guys doing it, reptile and gr8racingfool are the 2 person i know of.

gloss black paint. here something i forgot to tell you what ever you do don't powder coat the blower cause when the blower get hot it will shrink the case all the moving parts inside the case like couplers and rotor will not be able to spin freely. this happen to someone local and there's a thread on it at the other grandprixforums. as far as the tech i use to paint the blower i used heat to make the paint stick in more. get a hair dryer or heat gun and heat up the area that going to be paint. do little section at a time. so far the paint hold pretty well no peeling yet.
