I've been trying to find aftermarket valve covers for my L67, but have had no luck, until now. At my stop at ZZ Performance last week, I looked at and handled THREE styles of aftermarket valve covers. Two styles are factory covers covered in either black or carbon fiber film, with or without the slots filled. They are $75 ea. Filled are $100 ea.
Thay have had a die made for casting valve covers from aluminum. They are duplicates of the filled covers, including the ribs inside. The polish on the one I seen was fair, but it was first shots, also. They should be on the market by the end of October at $125 ea. These are the ones I want, although the filled carbon fiber units are sharp, also. Here is a link to their page:
