Default Turtle Wax ICE Liquid Polish & Spray Detailer Review

Here is my review of the new Turtle Wax Liquid Polish & Spray Detailer!

After washing my car I applied the "Liquid Polish" in direct sunlight and it performed as advertised. I was pretty nervous with applying this in direct sunlight but it went on just as clean and clear as it looks in the bottle. With the help of our Texas sun and heat, it developed a slight haze in a couple of minutes and removed just about as easily as it was applied. I would suggest running a clay bar over the car before applying this or any wax/polish. One week after the “Liquid Polish†application I went back over the car with the “Spray Detailer†that worked just as well as the polish. I see this "Spray Detailer" as a maintenance type of product after washing your car. Also, as noted, this stuff worked wonders on all of the trim components without the worry of leaving wax residue behind for all to see.

Now, on to my thoughts on hang time, as much as I like the wax, it did not seem that this polish is one to last very long in comparison to some of the other polishes on the market but feel the ease of application, removal and the simple fact that you can apply this stuff in direct sunlight will make this a wax combination to add to your exterior maintenance product list.

I should also note that this product comes with an applicator pad and a very nice micro fiber towel.

For those of you that have used this stuff let me know your thoughts!

I have used this stuff on my Monte. I first clay barred my car, then used #9 Mirror Glaze Swirl Remover from Meguiers with an orbital Porter Cable buffer. I think I should have used some sort of other wax on it before I Iced it because the Ice doesn't last. But, my car stays in the garage and I only drive it on sunny days so I don't need so much protection. I don't see it building up so I use it about every month to keep it shine. You know make it pretty before car shows.
