Default The Truth Behind the ClayBar

There has been a thread about the ClayBar recently so I thought I would post a really good article about every aspect of what the ClayBar really is, what it does, and even a little bit of how its made. I made a new thread about it so it would get more views and people could post there opinions about the article specifically ect.. This may be sticky worthy???

Very good article. I totally agree with everything said in the article. People who clay bar more than a couple of times a year is over kill and may damage the paint. I detail my Silver car (DD) twice a year. Once in the fall to protect from salt and once in the spring, to clean up after all of the salt and crud from the winter. The 03 never sees any bad weather, so I detail it once a year right before car show season.

I've been using a clay bar now for about 5 yrs +. It's the best thing I've ever used to get that clean shiny car. On my Chevelle I drive it a lot During the summer months. I do it once a month just to keep it looking good. Great article on this subject. Thanks
