anyone ever heard or seen someone swap seats from w body to w body, the gtp is a 4 door to.

There have been seat swaps, the cabin size is the same so it will fit. You just might have to get the tracks off the GP also, and maybe have to drill new holes.

Though Monte Carlo seats are much more comfortable IMO

 

Get the back seats while your at it.

 

havent seen it but i wanted to swap my seats for the gp gxp seats but i truly hate the hard plastic on the back of the passenger side seat.

 

well i was going to grab them, but there was 2 things wrong, one was all the front wiring was burnt on the car, and 2 the seats were all the way back, so i couldnt get to them. its wasnt a huge deal i guess, they were a bit cracked. but non the less the front would have been a drop in deal. i would be more likly to snag seats from a gtp than a monte around here, and also, theres nothing to tilt the front seats forward to let passengers in.
Rear seats may not fit. but they look like they would. thanks guys.

 

Has anybody seen a 5th gen seat swap?

 

I am just curious as to why you want to swap GTP seats into a Monte. Now the reason why I ask...is because most of my friends own GTPs and they want my seats. I am also part of an area Pontiac club and most of the members there want the Monte's seats. So judging from thier reactions...I would say the Monte's seats are more comfortable. They also seem to think that the front seats would be a direct swap.
