i found these RS emblems today on a chevy dealer website. i would assume these would be for the V6 montes (06-07). what do you guys think about these? think they look cool?i think they look ok but they arepretty expensive though too.

yeah that would be pretty cool, but i don't have an SS i'm gonna keep my eye out for some cheaper ones on ebay for the time being. anyone let me know if you see them around!

 

I actually found those last year, I think the lowest price I ever saw was around $70, I'll see if I can't find my original post on them.

If it wasn't for the price I'd already have them on. Pretty sure the RS package for the Camaros was mostly just an appearance package.

I contacted some GM part dealer last week and they said it's a special order product so it's unlikely we'll see any on eBay, and I've yet to see any since last year get put up. They told me that the kit will include three exterior RS emblems, interior emblem, and key fob/chain.

I dont understand why you would want to put RS emblems on a car that didnt offer a RS package. Its like this guy i saw with one of the newer chevy canyons w/ SS emblems on it when it wasnt an SS, he didnt even have the rims or dual exhaust. It doesnt appeal to me but if you guys like it, go for it, just my 2 cents.

I'm currently in the process of getting tires for my 18 inch SS wheels but am I going to put SS emblems or RS emblems on her, its asimple NO lol.

 

Well I'd rather go for RS than SS as the SS was actually offered as a whole different car. The RS on the other hand never existed, it's just like naming your car and using the name as badges. I think it might have something to do with the novelty factor for myself.

 

I know there was never an RS package offered but this is a kit that is offered from GM as an accessory for the MC. i agree, the guy that puts the SSbadge on his stock colorado, is kinda silly if you don'tcustomize it at all.it's not like i'm wanting to put an RS badge from a 1981 camaro or put an SS badge on when i don't have the v8, rims, or dual exhaust for it.for example, some people put aftermarket rims from tirerack.com, a magnaflow exhaust, or a poineer deck w/ subsonon their car. it's not offered as a package at the dealer, so why do it? because they look cool, and you want to customize your car to make it your ownand set it apart from others.that's how i feel

 

I like this kit, mostly because I wouldn't put the SS badges on a monte that wasn't a true SS, but at the same time with all of the mods I've done, I feel it's a step above an LT3.
