Default painting speaker grills

hi all. so i'm thinking about painting my speaker grilles on my 07. they are now gray like the most of the interior (seats, rear deck, door panels) with the same gray background. kind of blah imo. the rest of the interior is accented with black and a little stainless steel on the dash. i was planning on doing the grills in black. those of you with the 7th gens will know what i'm talking about and what it looks like for sure. sorry i don't have pics but i was just wanted to get an opinion on what you all think how they will look painted black on the gray background. thanks for the suggestions.

It shouldn't look bad with the grey background.

i have a the same interior color scheme its black and gray. Yes i painted my grills black and it just set em off and it looks really good. You could try the alumina (*spelling) spray but it looks like crap, and bright colors you need to be carefull because there very easy to over do or get carried away.
