@Franks 03SS: Correct me if I am wrong, but the very first thing generally done for prep is to scrub the Hell out of the cover(s) with Scotch Brite pads, right?

Haha thanks man, I saw an L67 cover a few weeks ago on clubgp for sale. It looked so badass!!, on top where it has the lines it was cutout and had mesh in place so the the blower showed through. Anyone see it? I can't seem to find it anymore :p

Using Dawn on the engine covers is a good idea too.

Yes I forgot to mention I use soap too lmao! :p
Dawn works really well to get all the grease and oil off. I personally use powder soap for clothes, like tide for example lol
Cleans them really good!

@Franks 03SS: If I am also correct, you do NOT use any primer, right? How come?

no i dont

because the engine paint adheres fairly easy to the rough plastic surface of the engine cover. and also dries very quickly!

nope lol, the one I saw looked much much better! IIRC The top part where the lines are was cutout to show the supercharger underneath the mesh

Here's another I found :p

Yes it will fit. But I will say it would be really weird to me seeing a Series III cover on a Series II motor. It will fit though.
