LOL...that's exactly what I have done to mine, but I'm not going to have any flames or anything like that on mine. I have some emblems I picked up at the wrecking yard I'm going to use. One is a Bowtie logo, one says Fuel Injection and the other says 3.8 Litre.

I ask because the chemicals in the paint, clearcoat or not, should eat right through that vinyl.

 

nah i dont think so, its still looks Excellent! maybe in a few years but if that were the case i'd just get another cover and do it again :p

 

It's a work in progress...one of those you spend a couple of minutes here and there working on. I still need to remove the V6 from the cover. I haven't decided exactly where I'm going to put the emblems yet, but thinking about the bowtie and fuel injection above the oil filler and the 3.8 litre where the V6 is now.

 

that engine cover looks nice. im trying to come up with a idea to paint the s/c cover on my monte. any ideas would appreciated lol
