has anyone painted there intake manifold on their 3400 engine? i have considered painting mine black withe the "3400" lettering red. any ideas/suggestions. should i use high heat paint?

oh and btw im painting my calipers red tomorrow, hopefully that will go well and i will try to post some pics.

 

I made the 3400 SFI Lettering RED. Barnyard Job. Just me and a Red Magic Marker and a few minutes of being bored with the hood open and the cleaning cloth in hand.

Disn't come-out half bad!

 

highly reccomend the high heat paint, when i had my 3100 i sprayed the manifoldblack and the raised stuff red, sprayed the paint into a paper bowl and brushed it in place, looked awesome and never came off

 

Yeah, high temp would probably be the way to go.


I wish it was warm enough here to paint...
