Default Paint?

So my question is....I have an 06 Monte Carlo LT and I want to paint the bottom trim and I wanna do black, I have a friend who spray painted the trim on his eclipse and it doesn't look bad, but do you guys know any decent black paint that would look good, my car is white and I'm about to put two black racing stripes on her and getting those black tail lights and possibly the new headlights. Any input from you guys is greatly appreciated.

I would look for the deepestblack you can get in a can. Duplicolor is the best spray paint out. Get some duplicolor black and some duplicolor clear. Put 2-3 coats of the clear on after the black dries. If you dont, the black will fadein the sunand you will get all kinds of stonechips.Be sure to scuff the paint on the panels with a grey scotch pad and maybe some scuff gel before you paint them.

Thanks you guys for the help, I think I will get that paint and clear coat and thank you Space for your ideas. That spoiler is definatley is coming and I ordered fogs but they dont fit! And I was thinkin of doing black rims with a chrome lip. Today I debadged the front so it looks kind of cool with a black bowtie.

I painted the bottom trim on mine and used a paint specifically for plastic. Its held up great so far. do a good job taping, then clean them very well, it will help the paint get a good grip and make it a longer finish.
