I wish I would have taken a picture of it today before I got started but I didn't expect claying it to make it look so much better. But given the amount of contaminants left in my clay, It's clear to see why. I'll snap some pics tomorrow before polishing/waxing and then some after so you can see my mad skillz yO!

It's a trip, before I started claying I was wetting the truck, and as the water sheeted over the body panels, I told my dad "see that? That's how it's gonna look tomorrow once I'm done with it" He was like "yeah right". And then once I was done claying, he said "damn, it almost looks like that already"

 

yeah we really do need some before and after picks so that if and when i come your way i can drop you off some bread so that you can detail my o4 ls that is by the way white.

 

I finished it today, came out very, very good. I love Mother's SynWax, it is by far the most user friendly wax I've ever used. It doesn't stain the trim, applies w/no effort, wipes away so easy that you go over it again "just to make sure" and the gloss it leaves behind is stunning. My dads 97 F150 now looks like it's got a brand new paint job!

I took some before and after shots, not really gonna tell much of a difference cause it looked pretty good after I clayed it, although it had very heavy swirls in it which didn't come through in the pics. It is now swirl free! I'll upload the pics to my FTP and link to em later tonight for your viewing pleasure.

And I'd be happy to detail your car, I love seeing the fruits of my labor once the car is done and looking good. After I finished my dad's truck, I drove it to the nursery we got our sod from to return the pallets it came on and people were staring at it, felt good.
