there is two ways to go about the taillights/plastic on trunk. i bought GTS taillight covers from rkperformance.com. they stick on with 3M tape. the other option is a product called nightshades which is in a spray can. you can put on as much or little as you want. it will looked tinted but the light still shines through.

MRL390, Z34 Phoenix, are a couple of 5th gen Z34 owners who have the same motor as you do...so they would know about exhausts that sound good and what not. Couch and I have the 3800 V6 in ours as opposed to the 3.4 DOHC.

There isnt much you can buy for the engine on our cars. milzymotorsports sells headers and ported intake manifolds for our engines but they are a little pricey for my taste. You wont find headers anywhere else though. You can get an aftermarket exhaust for a 6th gen monte since the exhaust systems are the same. I just have aftermarket mufflers and a resonator delete and it sounds good enough for me. Down the road I may get a magnaflow exhaust. Z34phenoix has a nice right-up on his web page about how to do a FWI (fender well intake). That would be a good start for performance.
