New blood, just got 95 Z34
Whats up forum,
I just bought a 1995 CHEVY MONTE CARLO BLACK Z34 w/180k miles for 950 smackers. I have a few of issues: 1) the brake light is on 2) the center console is broken 3) the tranny "slips". Since Im new to this car, any advice would
be helpful.
Thanx.

ok let me start by giving you some good sites to check.
1) Mymonte.com
2) Wbody.com
3) 60degreev6.com
the trany slipping is due to the horrable trany GM gave us until 97. it is the 4t60e its going to need a rebuild. it is probably slipping cause they changed the fluid to make it look good to a new buyer. and this will kill a high miles car.
the console is Too common. this happens to everyone i personally used epoxy to glue the peg back on, but others have found replacement hinges at the junk yard from other cars that seem to work with light cutting. there is a post over at mymonte.com that describes this.
another good place for info is my personal website. i have collected and written a lot of info for these cars and have it up for all who need it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/473859 page 6 is a big page, but has all the writeups and how to's. if you have any more ?'s just email me or sign my WWW guest book
