Frank - Did you purchase both bulbs (that emit different colors) at the same time from the same place? If so, let me know who you got them from. That way I can avoid buying from them if I ever decide to rice out my Monte.

I'm aware of the kits you can purchase that include the ballasts, but I'm talking about the replacement bulbs that are being advertised as HID. Since you're not installing a ballast and the wattage of the bulb is the same can they really be considered HID? I think it's marketing mumbo-jumbo.

, thats why i just bought replacement HID bulbs to replace my 10000k's

Wow...I hope that comment wasn't directed towards me. 
If my questions came across as 'fighting' then I'll try to word them better in the future to prevent any misunderstanding of my intent. 
Frank, I didn't know you had installed a kit. I thought you purchased some of the replacement bulbs only. I know there are a lot of places selling them, and didn't want to purchase from somewhere the quality wasn't up to par.
