Lol.. Sorry , there were others posting about thier engines n stuff.... The way I got the color is first off, I removed the engine mounts, removed ALL THE PAINT... Wire brush, grinders, etc.... Then with a softer wire brush, I put swirl marks in the same direction for the most part and a couple in opposite directions (so the paint would "reflect light" Then, cleaned them with pre paint cleaners, used a "Tac pad" then used the Duracoat Metallic translucent red, (make sure you get the color you want to match, the more paint the darker the red etc....) after 3 coats of the red, I clear coated them with 4 coats of clear, then polish, all set.. Let em cure and reinstall... Did this to a TON of my parts...... Lots of work. Hope that does it.. Thanks again...Michael....

Love the candy apple red!
Love the candy apple red! Great job and attention to detail. I am getting started with my engine bay detailing and can't decide on a theme. I am leaning towards trimming out with Hugger Orange but not sure how it will go with the Silver. Your work is definitely inspiring.

After she received the "Joke". She started to cry because she loved it so much, I kinda feel like a heal now..... She put it on her mantle in her living room and said its one of her favorite items she owns.... Guess some things just touch a spot in someone's heart and that's AWSOME.....
Thanks for the kind words... . Michael...
