I think the silver trim along the bottom of your car would look great.

You're gonna have to imagine a Monte instead of an 88 Z24, but it would kinda look like this color combo:

lol yay!!! ANOTHER Z24! woot woot...i love the silver body kit..but that red one looks lik a mexi over kill..no offence to anyone...just wayy to low....to tiny tires...looks like a ricer!

heres my 1989 Z24 2.8L bored and stroked toa 3.1 with a 5 speed..lots of other goodies too

Did you sand/prime the bumpers and rocker moldings before laying down the silver?

I finally ordered the paint, but I was debating sanding the moldings down with 320 and 600 before priming and painting.

Finally got around to painting! I wanted to make the whole body one uniform color instead of two toning with the dull black bottom trim that's stock. It makes the car look a little bit lower as well.

Used 600 grit to wetsand, 2-3 coats of primer, 4-5 coats of base color, 2-3 clear coat. If you have the tools to do so, I'd say remove the rocker moldings, it may save you some time as opposed to masking.

P.S. Also prepare to become slightly high off the fumes, this may make you a bit more careless by the end of the process

I masked it right at the top of the bottom trim, you should be able to layer the masking tape right in the crease above the rocking molding. This way only the molding is exposes and the body gets covered up.
