black magic dash protectant
Has anyone used this stuff before? I used it and I guess from the heat of Arizona it discolored my dash. So looks like Ill be buying a dash cover just to be safe.

never used it before, I found some stuff at Krown Rust control last year that works amazing on my cars. Sorry to hear it faded your dash, that is not good, but I do know the arizona sun can be harsh on a good day

It doesn't matter how the weather is. A friend of mine used it and it left a gray haze on the dash. It took several cleanings with (blue) dawn dishwashing liquid and scrub to get it back close to the original color. Then is had to be soaked a couple times with leather conditioner. A couple extra bucks up front for a better quality product can save money in the long run and a large headache.

Try to purchase a product that has UV Protection for the dash. Also a matte finish would be nice so that the sun doesn't reflect off of it.
Something like Adam's interior detailer is a good one: Total Interior Cleaner and Dressing | Clean Auto Interior
Also make sure, no matter what, you apply in the shade with the dash cool to the touch.
