first off bleeding might not take care of the problem

Check for leaks around the master cylinders, hoses and calipers,
Check the pads to see if they aregetting close to needing replacing.
If all that is ok
Get a friend have him/her pump the brake pedal, while they hold it down, open the bleeder valve on the caliper. ONce the pedal goes all the way down, close the valve before they release the brake pedal. Start with the right rear wheel, then left rear, then right front finish with the left front.
Check the brake fluid so that you dont run it dry while bleeding the brakes.

check for leakes and start with the farthest away from the master for the bleeding. then work to the next farthest etc....
