sorry man you said you wanted a drag radial so i thought you were heart set on a radial. if you wanted a wrinkle wall i would look into a m&h or a mickey thompson slick. but i doubt they will be in 17" rims.....

for street tires i recommend nitto 555r's that is what i am running and love them.

i am still a rookie at drag racing so i was all over the place when launching etc so i cant say. all i know is i went 12.80@113mph with a crappy 2.3 60ft because i dont know how to launch yet.

i was on a set of toyo's and they were hopeless, the hoosiers helped out alot over the toyo's i will say for sure.

113 is a darn good trap speed and for that speed, a 2.3 60' is a VERY POOR launch. I have a 66 Lemans that I stuffed a GM 502 in; it will run 12.0x and my trap speeds are only 110 - 112. My 60' times with that are a 1.8x with wrinkle wall slicks; (and I actually could use more tire or better weight distribution)

When I was out with my Monte a few weeks ago I was cutting 2.3 60' times on cs4 touring street tire. I was only hitting 102 - 103 in the quarter, which means you got quite a few more horses under your hood . If your car was hooking REALLY well, I think you could pull some really low 12's and probably even dip in the 11's.

I agree I always said if I could hook a 1.9-2.0 60ft I would run a low 12 or very high 11

Turbo Monte is making around 430whp

i am running a 2700 stall converter built for my car and mods i have done. i bought it from kevin at cartuning performance.

i havnt updated it yet because i do not have a dyno slip to prove that number. i have done more mods to increase my power level quite a bit and i have asked people with similiar cars etc what there making or what i should be making now and everyone is agreeing on 430-440whp. i know it is def faster now then it was when it was dynoed. i want to dyno again but i am waiting till i upgrade the turbo then ill dyno for a more final number
