Thepolished does look at little better there, but I agree with TheMonteMan. I have never enjoyed caring for aluminum finished rims - I always have problems with corrosion (even if there are only used in Summer). But that is life in Canada

i think the opposite if its chromed aluminum id go that route. i have polised aluminum and they scratch super easy and are constant upkeep to look good. they look nice until you actually drive the car and the unavoidable happens. plus the factory polished aluminums should have a clear coat that can haze and peal and scratch. if that happens you could strip the clear and polish and buff the bare aluminum itll look like chrome but then your back to constant upkeep. go with the chromed aluminum.
