ok so i got a set of 17'' rims corrently with 225 55 17 tires. i was wondering if there is any way of going any wider and or taller? i do not know how the tire sizes work its all confusing to me so i need some help with what to get. also what is a really good tire that hooks up? i never drive in the snow or rain so it can be a straight dry condition tire only.

 

I have 235/55/17s on an 8" wide wheel. That size may work for you.
